Your Voice
Real perimenopause stories and expert perspectives from Canada on the transition that changes everything.
Perimenopause is one of those experiences that changes completely when you realize other people are going through it too. The relief of hearing someone else describe exactly what you’ve been feeling. The validation of knowing you’re not imagining it, not overreacting, and definitely not alone.
That’s what this page is for.
Lemons or Lemonade was built on the belief that women’s voices and women’s experiences belong at the centre of the perimenopause conversation. Not just the clinical voices. Not just the research. The real ones. The ones that come from lived experience, professional expertise, and the kind of hard-won knowledge that only comes from actually going through something.
We’d love to hear from you.
A Few Things to Know Before You Reach Out
All submissions go through editing
Not heavily. We respect your voice and your expertise. But we do edit for clarity, tone and consistency with the site’s standards. You’ll have the opportunity to review any significant changes before publication.
Unfortunately, we can’t pay contributors at this time
Lemons or Lemonade is an independent Canadian site in its early stages. We’re transparent about that. What we can offer is a genuine audience of Canadian women who need exactly what you have to say, a proper byline and bio, and a site that takes perimenopause seriously.
Promotional content isn’t accepted
Articles should be written to inform, not to sell. Source links and links to credible organizations are welcome. Links to products, services or paid promotions are not. If you’re unsure whether something counts as promotional, just ask. We’d rather have that conversation upfront.
We reserve the right to decline submissions
Submissions that don’t meet our editorial standards, contain inaccurate medical information, or aren’t a good fit for our audience. If we decline your submission we’ll tell you why.
How to Get in Touch
Perimenopause stories from across Canada are what make this site what it is. Ready to contribute? We’d love to hear from you.
Tell us a little about yourself and what you’d like to share. If you’re submitting a personal story, a few sentences about your experience is enough to get started. If you’re an expert contributor, a brief outline of your proposed topic works well.
We read every submission personally and respond to everyone who reaches out.
Your information is used only to respond to your submission. Read our [Privacy Policy].
